The Black Lodge is the second part of Ghost of Wood’s Twin Peaks trilogy of original music.
As well as the slow-motion brushed beats, shimmering tremolo guitar and low, moaning wind of the first album, Welcome to Twin Peaks, this new release includes a couple of bluesy, rockabilly tracks that wouldn’t feel out of place at The Roadhouse.
“I wanted to create original music which could be from some previously undiscovered episodes of Twin Peaks,” says Ghost of Wood. “I wanted to channel Badalamenti and Lynch to create something that was both brand new and familiar, something fans of the series could listen to and see Twin Peaks in their mind’s eye.”
