Hawkflawed
Psi
Psi is a play on drummer Simon Hill's name, who also performs vocals in the Hawkflawed trio. Collaborating with Bewkes and Spock for the first time since the trio were at school together as Eye 2 Eye, Psi's UK musical career has evolved via stints in Portsmouth (Tabasco Cat), and various collaborations in London.
In 2003, he relocated to Australia for work, and after a hiatus, reappeared on the music scene in Sydney, firstly with pop-rock band The Grown Ups, and then - for his last decade down under - with Green Manalishi, a heavy metal covers band.
Now back in the UK after 22 years overseas, he plays drums with Polarity, a Portsmouth-based classic rock cover band, is back working with Tabasco Cat for the first time in 35 years, and now the Hawkflawed project.
Psi is a rock tragic, citing Iron Maiden, Saxon, AC/DC, Black Sabbath, Deep Purple, Rammstein & Rush among his favourite bands. He idolised Neil Peart, and admired John Bonham & lain Paice.
By day, Psi is a football commentator, using his voice for a different outlet than Hawkflawed.
